About

Dr Téo Ferreux is a 26-year-old Postdoctoral Fellow, specialising in environmental chemistry. He aims to help reduce our impact on the environment and contribute to building a more sustainable future.

He holds a PhD from the University of Montpellier in France. His doctoral research focused on comparing wastewater treatment processes and their combinations for removing organic micropollutants in the context of water reuse. The treatment technologies he investigated included advanced processes such as ozonation and nanofiltration, as well as a nature-based solution: soil aquifer treatment enhanced by a reactive barrier.

Téo has also gained research experience at several research institutes in France, primarily focusing on micropollutant monitoring and removal strategies. His experience includes developing analytical methods for quantifying pesticides in fish, comparing sampling methods for assessing pesticide contamination and implementing a non-target analysis method to monitor pharmaceuticals during treatment using nature-based solutions.
