About
Dr Martha Itzel Garcia-Torres is a medical doctor and epidemiologist from Mexico, currently a Marie Curie (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellow in the AuSpire Program at the Universidad Loyola Andalucía in Spain. Martha’s work focuses on mental health systems, health service mapping, and public health research to improve equity and access to care across diverse contexts. She is am particularly interested in how research can support better decision-making and stronger health systems. Beyond academia, she enjoys science communication and sharing the real-life process behind research.
