About

Dr Guofeng Chen received his BEng in Pharmaceutical Engineering from China Pharmaceutical University, his PhD in Drug Design from the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, CAS and completed postdoctoral training in Medicinal Chemistry at the Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, CAS. His research focuses on the efficient development of novel small-molecule inhibitors by integrating medicinal chemistry, structural biology and computer-aided drug design. His research experience spans RIPK3 inhibitors, cGAS phase-separation modulators, FABP4 inhibitors and ultra-broad-spectrum 3CL protease inhibitors.

In AuSpire, he aims to apply AI and computational modelling approaches to advance the discovery of macrocycles and other drug modalities against important disease targets.
