Fundación Universidad Loyola Andalucía is part of the Society of Jesus. As the first private university in Andalusia, Spain it was established in 2012 and began its activities in 2013. It has become a leading university within the Spanish Higher Education System, known for its academic results, degree of internationalisation, graduate employability, and research projects and activities. Universidad Loyola offers 8 graduate programmes and currently has 5,670 students across its three campuses, located in Seville, Córdoba and Granada.
The mission of Universidad Loyola is to generate knowledge for the greatest benefit of humanity and to educate men and women who strive to serve others and to be the best for the world. Loyola Andalucía envisions a university as a space designed for meaningful dialogue and encounter where individuals from diverse cultures, beliefs and ideologies can live lives inspired by and committed to others and to creation. To fulfil this mission, Universidad Loyola adopts the pedagogical model of Jesuit universities and higher education institutions.
