Research interests

    • Energy Conservation & Heat Recovery – Developing strategies to reduce energy use and recover high-temp gas streams for preheating or power generation.
    • Renewable & Carbon-neutral Energy – Assessing integration of solar, wind, biomass, hydrogen, bio-methane, and ammonia into plant systems.
    • System Optimisation – Improving thermal insulation, optimise pressure systems, and evaluate design modifications for energy efficiency.

    Additional priorities:

    • On-site Energy Generation – Exploring waste-to-energy and solar PV solutions within plant boundaries.
    • Carbon Capture, Utilisation & Storage (CCUS) – Identifying cost-effective technologies, reuse captured CO₂, and address transport logistics.
    • Zero Effluent Discharge – Mapping effluent streams and propose treatment systems to convert waste into reusable or saleable inputs.
