Valery Novoa Colas is a Chemical Engineer who holds an MSc in Process Engineering. He has more than 25 years of experience in process, chemical plants, refineries, conversion (thermal and catalysts) units, product management, and waste treatment. His career has seen an ascending and staggered professional growth in industrial and engineering environment down-stream oil and gas process units.

Valery is involved in field operations, technical supervision, equipment and unit evaluation, optimisation and design, from feasibility studies to detail engineering, upgrades and new technologies integration. He has a consolidated experience with technical tools such as ASPEN HYSYS, ASPEN EDR (Exchanger Design & Rating), ASPEN FLARE SYSTEM, ASPEN ENERGY ANALYZER, ASPEN PLUS, AVEVA PRO-II, AVEVA Unified Supply Chain, DWSIM, AFT FATHOM, and AFT ARROW.
