Professor Sujeeva Setunge is the director of the Australian Research Council funded Industrial Transformation Research Hub Transformation of Reclaimed Waste Resources to Engineered Materials and Solutions for a circular Economy which is a $21m collaboration of 33 industry partners, 9 Australian institutions, 4 international Universities and Australian Research Council.

Sujeeva is Professor in Civil Engineering and the Associate Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation at RMIT University.

She leads multiple research projects in collaboration with industry and government to progress a future for resilient infrastructure incorporating advanced materials, circular economy, asset management, disaster resilience and digital transformation. Sujeeva is a fellow of Engineers Australia and a chartered professional Engineer.
