Underwater Communication Signal Processing

Research areas: Optical communication; underwater environments; laser systems

Monodon-PF2

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop advanced signal processing and networking techniques for underwater optical communication systems.

The selected candidate will work on designing and implementing robust communication protocols, modulation schemes, and error correction codes tailored for the challenging underwater environment.

This research will be focused on improving data speed and reliability despite underwater challenges like turbulence, signal reflections, and noise.

Experience in digital signal processing, communication theory, and network protocols is highly desired.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a parallel postdoctoral researcher developing the optical hardware to create a comprehensive underwater communication solution.
