AuSpire launches second recruitment call for Postdoctoral Fellowships in Planetary Wellbeing

The Australia-Spain Network for Innovation and Research Excellence (AuSpire) has announced 15 positions in its second open recruitment call for Postdoctoral Fellowships opening 1 December 2025.

AuSpire, an interdisciplinary program co-funded by the European Union and coordinated by RMIT Europe, seeks to connect research communities and industry partners in Spain and Australia to confront international challenges centered on Planetary Wellbeing.

Successful candidates will take on full-time research roles in Spain for 36 months. Successful candidates will receive competitive salaries and relocation allowances in addition to other benefits.

The program also offers up to 12 months of international or intersectoral secondment in either Australia or Spain as well as industry collaboration, training opportunities and networking events.

Applications are encouraged from outstanding researchers worldwide, provided they already hold a PhD and have not resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for more than 12 months over the last 3 years. More information on the mobility rule can be found in the Guide for Applicants.
